The Best Value in a Smartwatch – Ticwatch E

This has to be the single greatest tech purchase of 2018.

An impulse buy (lower taxes while on a work trip to Hawaii), the Ticwatch E has been my go to device. When I leave the house, I used to chant, “Keys. Wallet. Phone.” Now my watch has to be included.

What do I like the most?

  • Wear OS – great updates, quick updates. A few hiccups here and there, like when they forced TicHealth as the only option for health tracking, but that got fixed quickly.
  • Battery Life – I don’t power thru the battery so I might get two days worth of use before it hits power save mode. Not a fan of the proprietary charger but I haven’t lost it yet. Fortunately, a replacement is under $20 at Amazon.
  • Google Fit – I mentioned it before but it’s worth mentioning again. I track my steps, do my deep breathing, power thru my kettle bell customized workouts and love every minute of it.
  • Endurance – Like losing a pet to a freak storm, I washed my Ticwatch and was without it for week while away for work. I pondered buying another – it was my fault I ran it through the washer – but I am so glad I did not. Yes it’s been on sale, but when I got back home, guess who battled that storm to come find me. Back on it’s charger a week later and it’s working as if nothing happened. *fingers crossed*

Overall, I cannot be happier. Do you have a Ticwatch or another model? Let us know what you think of it below.
